Meet our Pastor & Wife Terry & Sarah LaSalle
Terry LaSalle has accepted the call to become the Pastor of Grace Baptist Church, Cassville, MO. Terry surrendered to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in 1974. He pastored his first church in 1980 and has pastored 7 churches in Missouri. He grew up in Missouri and has spent a majority of his life in Lawrence county. He graduated from Miller High School and earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. Terry was also a Hospice chaplain in Barry county for 10 years and is coming from Marionville First Baptist Church where he has served as Senior Adult Pastor. Terry married his wife Sarah in 1979 on March 23rd. Sarah is from a military family. Her grandfather joined the army at the end of WWI and served in WWII and the Korean War. Her father was in the military until he was afflicted with a military related disease and had to retire. She had 3 brothers who served during the VietNam era and a brother-in-law who retired from the Marines with over 20 years of service for our country. Sarah was born in France and grew up in Aurora from the time she was 3 years old until she graduated from Aurora High School. She had medical training at OTC in Springfield and worked at Mercy Hospital in Springfield for 20 years. She is presently a clerk for the Veterans Clinic in Springfield, which is a perfect fit for her. Terry and Sarah have 4 adult children and 6 grandchildren, 4 who are adults. They enjoy their children and grandchildren and have been to several sporting events as well as other activities keeping up with them over the years. They also love to travel when they have an opportunity and have enjoyed and been blessed serving the Lord Jesus since their marriage. They are looking Forward to serving with the Grace Baptist Church, Cassville in the years to come.
